To complete the part (a) question on wealth and poverty. This was written into your planners at the end of your lesson. It is worth 8 marks so needs to include 8 facts.

miss i dont know what essay i should be writing about, in the other teachers boxes it says about war and peace but in yours wealth and poverty.what should i be writing about?

This is Mrs Backman - I think you have looked at the wrong homework, because Miss Riddell Croft’s homework for this week says to finsih your war and peace coursework.
The three questions are:
a) What are Christian teachings about war and peace (24 marks)
For this question you need to look at the ideas of holy war, Just War, and pacifism
b) How would these beliefs affect the actions of a believer? (21 marks)
For this question you should look at each of the 3 different beliefs you wrote about for part A and show how believing these things would afffect what a Christian would do in time of war.
c) “Killing is wrong; war is killing therefore war is wrong.” Do you agree? Show you have thought of more than one point of view and refer to Christianity in your answer - you should also explain the reasons for both your and others beliefs (15 marks)
